Students come to my classes with different knowledge and skills. I try to
help them build on this prior learning, not only to prepare for the
examination but also to acquire the skills they need for the future.
As a student in my class studying for a Cambridge Exam you can expect
- to have homework most nights in order to reinforce what you
studied in class and to practice for the examination
- to work hard in class but also to participate in fun activities
to give relief before or after more challenging activities, and
- to work co-operatively with other students in order to practise
spoken and listening skills, correct errors in your own or a partner's
work, practise what you have learnt
Exam Preparation Course
Study Exam Preparation at Language Schools New Zealand for
Cambridge and IELTS English exams. Choose to study in our Christchurch
or Queenstown school.
Hours: 25 hours per week
Time: Monday - Friday 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:15pm-3:15pm
Exam: Cambridge (FCE and CAE), IELTS
The course introduces students to the requirements and format of the exams.
Students learn and practise reading, writing, speaking and listening for exams, with exam practice papers.
* Exam courses are dependant on numbers.
* Students must have strong intermediate English to join this course.
* Students may have to buy the textbook or pay materials fee depending on the exam.
